Primula obconica is a herbaceous perennial.
It is characterized by the presence of a rosette of very large and rounded basal leaves.
They have a soft green color and the edges are always wavy. Their surface is covered with a rather thin hair that if touched by sensitive subjects can cause more or less important skin irritations.
With the first warmth of spring, the erect stems begin to appear, branching off from the center of the aforementioned rosette. At their apexes, medium-sized flowers bloom in shades of pale pink or deep purple but in recent years new hybrid cultivars have been created in the most varied colors.
Grown in a 12cm pot. available in various shades of colors.
