JANUARY THE MONTH OF NEW THINGS

JANUARY THE MONTH OF NEW THINGS

The month of every beginning, of good intentions. In the collective imagination, January evokes the dreaded Monday.

That sort of little excitement that accompanies us in the new challenges and that at the same time leaves us a little apprehension linked to the news. So how do you try to bring these two emotions into balance?

A Green activity that can be a source of satisfaction in the long run. January is the seedbed month, take a moment to choose and select your seeds and prepare them in the shelter of your home and then see them sprout in the coming months. Prepare a mixture of potting soil with 10% Humus, with which you will fill jars taking care not to press too hard, insert the seeds bearing in mind that the depth should be twice the size of the seed, wet with the sprayer and, if necessary, to keep heat and moisture covered with film. Now choose a warm and bright home where you can place your seedbed. A shelf in the living room, a shelf in the warmth of the bathroom, the corner of the herbs in your kitchen. Remember that when the plants are well formed and have a root system developed you can transplant them into your vertical garden.

Enjoy this moment, in the quiet of your home contemplate your result.

Here are some examples of seeds that you can use in this period: Rocket, Basil, Lettuce, Chard, Onions, Chives, Spinach, Parsley.
