An essential material of the aquarium filtering system is that which allows the housing of chemioeterotrofi bacteria that will decompose the organic substances produced by the flora and fauna present, a fundamental process to close the biological cycle and keep fish alive, these bacteria break down ammonia and nitrites produced from feces and fish urine, dead leaves and food scraps that are highly toxic and even deadly for fish in the aquarium. Usually for this purpose we use materials with other forms that do not allow to make the most of the ce dedicated to this material in the filter. Haquoss biopearl thanks to its spherical shape, with a particular diameter about 5mm, and to the material it is made of molecular structure porosa and adsorbente, allows to exploit at 95 percent the available ce still allowing the water to flow but increasing the gripping ability to dismise for bacteria: in fact, one liter of haquoss biopearl allows the settlement of a number of bacteria up to 20 times higher than normal ceramic rings.
