The Pseudolarix belongs to the Pinaceae family, but it is one one of a kind species. It is native to China and widespread in central Europe and also in the Italian Alps. It is one of bonsai most appreciated for its aesthetic value, in fact it is a very plant elegant, with long leaves gathered in small bunches, bright green. During the vegetative period his sprouts they are of a very intense shade of red, sometimes purple. The pseudolarix is a deciduous bonsai, in autumn all the needles take on a fabulous orange color, and then fall off, leaving the trees bare throughout the winter.
CARE
Place the Pseudolarix in one bright area either indoors or outdoors. Allow it during the hot season of the shadow, if exposed to direct sun the leaves can burn. This bonsai is extremely resistant and does not require any winter protection down to temperatures as low as -20 ° C. It produces shorter and more compact needles in cooler climates that are more similar to their natural habitat, in hot and humid conditions they will tend to grow more.
