At the apex of its twigs, this species of Gardenia bears the inflorescence notes that we appreciate for two reasons: the beauty and the delicious smell they give off. The white flowering of Gardenia Jasminoides occurs in the summer, during which the color will tend to change in cream tones, until it reaches yellow shortly before wilting. 

TREATMENT:  Gardenia loves light, but not direct sunlight: place the plant near a window, being careful not to place it near sources of heat - such as heaters - or cold air currents. Water the Gardenia every 5-7 days or when the soil has almost completely dried; in summer it will generally need more watering. However, avoid stagnation of water, to minimize the risk of yellowing leaves or decay of the plant: empty the saucer if there is still water inside half an hour after watering. 
Proceed with the cutting of the flowers that wilt through sharp shears. 
As for fertilization, prefer a good soil for acidophilic plants, mixed with a small amount of sand or pumice stone, to better aerate the substrate and increase its drainage.
