Blueberries like cherries: one leads to another! The American blueberry plant is deciduous, that is, it loses its foliage during the period of vegetative rest. The pulp is soft, greenish-white in color, with a taste between sweet and sour, more or less intense.

 

TREATMENT: It has excellent resistance to cold, managing to withstand even temperatures of -30 ° C. The blueberry fears more the returns of spring cold, especially in the flowering phase. Blueberry is a very demanding plant in terms of soil. It is an acidophilic species, which grows well in acidic soils. To cultivate blueberries, the utmost attention must be paid to the aspects of irrigation: it has a high water need in the vegetative and fruit ripening phases.
