nerine bowdenii, le nerine sono un altro regalo del sudafrica al nostro giardino, tanto più prezioso in quanto i fiori sbocciano quando aiuole e vasi si avviano al riposo invernale. piantare i bulbi in primavera al sole o in mezz' ombra a 10 cm di profondità (un pò meno in vaso) e altrettanti di distanza in terra fertile ma sabbiosa, d' estate annaffiare di frequente badando che l' acqua in eccesso si possa allontanare velocemente. gli steli fiorali, alti 50 cm, sono utili anche per le composizioni di fiori recisi.
